T. rex babies
This is a sculpture I did for the "Favorites Collection" of dinosaur collectibles. The proportions of these babies are scientifically accurate based upon current allometric (growth) studies. I reason that due to the size difference between a hatchling and a mother T. rex, that the babies would have to be precocial, that is, active right out of the egg. Otherwise they could not deal with small predators that might slip past big mama. So, given that, I imagined a pair of brothers that would start feuding and pecking at each other right out of the egg.
